Two Ukrainian servicemen of the 79th Air Assault Brigade assault group captured 14 Russian soldiers. This was reported by the brigade’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to the military, the assault group of the 79th Air Assault Brigade came close to one of the Russian positions after pilots of attack drones first practiced on the enemy. The attack forced the Russians to take cover in a cramped dugout.

Two Ukrainian stormtroopers threw a grenade at the entrance to the dugout, and the frightened occupants dropped their weapons and raised their hands. The military then led the enemies out in formation.

“The frightened occupants immediately threw down their weapons and raised their hands. At that time, as it turned out, there were as many as 14 occupiers at the position. They chose life over death, and our paratroopers did not refuse them,” the statement reads.

The footage from the night drones published by the brigade shows two Ukrainian soldiers leading representatives of the Russian army into captivity.

After all the enemy soldiers came out of the dugout, it turned out that there were 14 of them.

The battalion commander, with the consent of the brigade commander, nominated both attack aircraft for state awards.
