The Defense Ministry is creating a “digital army” and the General Staff is recruiting IT specialists

The Ministry of Defense has established a state-owned enterprise, Digital Army, which will be responsible for the sustainable strategic development of the digital capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The Digital Army will help to effectively interact with the private sector in Ukraine and abroad, as well as government agencies around the world.
This is what the creation of a new state-owned enterprise will do:
For the military. Projects from military units, such as the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies or brigade R&D laboratories, will have additional opportunities for development in cooperation with the private sector of Ukraine and allied countries. This, in turn, will give military technical developers confidence and additional motivation to continue developing their ideas even after the war is over.
For civilians. First of all, it is the further development of products that provide speed and convenience in resolving military registration issues, including deferrals or searching for vacancies in the Defense Forces. It is also an opportunity to join the development and implementation of defense innovations as part of the Digital Army team.
For businesses. The products and developments of businesses and startups will be integrated into the projects of the Defense Forces and become part of ecosystems with full capabilities that are needed not only for an asymmetric advantage over the enemy, but also for the successful sale of ideas in foreign markets.
Iryna Kvaskova, director of the Digital Army state enterprise, said that it should become a platform that will combine digital products in the defense sector. This includes not only the Reserve and Army applications, but also combat systems and defense innovations.
The leadership of the Digital Army plans to recruit the best civilian and military experts to its team.
The Armed Forces also need the best specialists
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has issued a message inviting specialists in the field of IT, robotics and artificial intelligence to cooperate.
If you have knowledge and practical experience in the field of informatization, robotics, or artificial intelligence, please send your resume to [email protected], the General Staff said in a statement.
They explained that they are looking for ambitious, ready for new challenges, creative and proactive specialists and promised to consider all resumes, regardless of whether the specialist is already serving in the army or is just planning to join the army, and also informed about the documents to be submitted.
