German authorities will provide 50 million euros for the treatment of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. This was reported by the German government, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

The German government said that from now on, the costs of inpatient treatment of war wounded will be allocated “without bureaucratic procedures by the Federal Office of Administration”.

“This support also includes help for seriously wounded soldiers fighting for the freedom of their country. It is important to provide non-bureaucratic assistance to soldiers who have been injured in the war. Thanks to the solution we have found, we are creating security for receiving the necessary medical treatment in Germany,” said German Finance Minister Christian Lindner.

It is noted that the admission procedures and benefit structure in recent years have led to a number of administrative burdens and processing problems for victims, hospitals and municipalities. These problems should be addressed through a joint initiative of the federal government.

In total, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Germany has evacuated 1,173 people for treatment, including both military and civilians. Many of them lost limbs and sustained gunshot and explosive wounds.
