SBU: Russia used the full potential of bot farms to undermine the situation in Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine warns of new attempts by Russia’s special services to undermine the socio-political situation in Ukraine by intensifying information sabotage. This is stated on the SBU website, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The SBU records a significant intensification of Russian special services in conducting information and psychological special operations in Ukraine.
Recently, the number of information sabotage operations aimed at splitting society and artificially spreading protest sentiment has increased significantly.
Russian special services have used the full potential of their bot farms to provoke and massively use controlled groups and fake accounts in popular messengers and social networks, most actively in TikTok and Telegram.
In destructive content, the enemy spreads fake information about the alleged spread of protest sentiment among Ukrainians and street riots in various regions of Ukraine.
At the same time, the Russians call on citizens to hold mass actions to violate public order and the constitutional order, and offer money for participation in rallies.
The SBU is taking all necessary measures to respond and work out existing and potential threats to Ukraine’s national security.
The Ukrainian special service urges citizens to be vigilant and not to respond to hostile provocations used by Russia to undermine the internal situation in the country.
“In addition, we note that actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power (especially under certain restrictions established by the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law”) contain signs of a crime under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a sentence of up to 10 years in prison,” the SBU emphasizes.
