The Lukyanivska station on the Syretsko-Pecherska “green” line of the Kyiv Metro will be temporarily closed to passengers due to damage caused by a blast wave to the above-ground entrance hall. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the Kyiv Metro.
According to reports, as a result of the shelling, the entrance/exit to the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred at the “Khreshchatyk” metro station on the Svyatoshino-Brovarska “red” line will also be temporarily closed.

Immediately after the air raid siren stops, metro employees will begin work to address the damage and ensure the escalators and passenger automation systems are operational. Further updates on the resumption of normal metro operations will be provided.
Strike on Kyiv
On the night of May 24, Russia struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles and attack drones. Debris fell in several districts, causing damage and injuries.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that unmanned aerial vehicles struck residential buildings in several districts of the city. In the Shevchenkivskyi district in the central part of the capital, a drone struck a high-rise building on the third and fourth floors; in the Obolonskyi district in northern Kyiv, it struck a 16-story residential building on the 12th and 13th floors; and in the Solomyanskyi district in the western part of the city, a UAV struck a 24-story residential building.
Media reported that the Russians used an “Oreshnik” ballistic missile during the attack on the Ukrainian capital.
On the eve of the attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that, according to information from American and European partners, Russia was preparing to strike the country with an “Oreshnik” ballistic missile. He urged Ukrainians to heed the air raid alerts and take shelter.
Meanwhile, a week ago, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin personally mentioned the “Oreshnik” during a meeting with military officials and stated that it could be equipped with nuclear warheads.
