14 April 08:45

US President Donald Trump reacted to yesterday’s Russian missile attack on Sumy, which killed 34 people. The American leader called it a “terrible mistake.” This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Forbes.

“I think it was terrible. And I was told that they made a mistake. But I think it was terrible. I think the whole war is a horror. I think that the beginning of this war is an abuse of power,” Trump said during a conversation with media representatives at the White House.

When asked by journalists what he meant by the word “mistake,” the American leader did not specify.

The US President replied:

“They made a mistake. I believe they did – look, you can ask them.”

Trump also did not specify who exactly told him about the “mistake.” At the same time, he did not miss the opportunity to repeat that if he were president, he would not have allowed the war to begin.

“If I were president, this country would never have allowed this war to begin,” Trump repeated his thesis.
