The TSK on “Midas” has “many questions” for Fedorov: the former minister was summoned to the Rada

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov was summoned to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission on the investigation of possible violations in the defense sector, anti-corruption legislation, and human rights compliance during martial law. This was announced by the commission’s chairman, Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of parliament from the “European Solidarity” faction, on his Telegram channel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The TSC meeting with the former government official is scheduled for August 31. Commission members plan to hear Mikhail Fedorov’s explanations and testimony as part of the investigation into Operation “Midas.”
“We are summoning former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, which will take place on August 31. The commission has a great many questions for Mr. Mykhailo. We would like to receive answers to them,” stated Oleksiy Goncharenko.

Currently, the TSC is conducting a detailed investigation into possible violations of anti-corruption legislation regarding the use of state funds and the management of state property. In particular, the parliamentary commission is focusing on materials released by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in November 2025 regarding Operation “Midas.”
According to NABU, this case uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme involving influence over the state-owned enterprise “Energoatom.” The investigation established that the company systematically extorted “kickbacks” from its contractors amounting to 10–15% of the total value of the contracts concluded.
