Student from Kyiv wins Miss Ukraine 2024 title: video of the contest

A 20-year-old student and model Maria Melnychenko from Kyiv won the title of Miss Ukraine 2024. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Miss Ukraine page on Instagram.
The girl became the winner based on the sum of the jury’s points and the results of voting on the official website of the contest, which took place over two weeks.
Melnychenko will represent the country at the Miss World 2024 pageant to be held next year.
Maria is a 4th year student at the State Tax University in Irpin, where she is studying finance, banking and insurance. she has been practicing ballroom dancing for 10 years. She also skillfully skis and snowboards, regularly plays tennis and sports, and supports military training and charitable initiatives.

In addition, the national committee announced the names of the contestants who won other titles. iryna Makarova, 24, from Kyiv region, became the 1st Vice Miss Ukraine 2024, and Victoria Gudym, 21, from Lviv region, became the 2nd Vice Miss Ukraine 2024.
“I am Miss Ukraine 2024! My heart is full of emotions: pride, gratitude and trembling excitement for the future. For me, this title is not only about beauty, but also about the opportunity to speak about my country, to tell the world about its strength and invincibility! This day is just the beginning. There are new challenges ahead and a mission to represent Ukraine on the world stage. I promise to work hard to justify your trust,” the girl wrote on her Instagram page.
Having won the national competition, Maria Melnichenko is now preparing to participate in the Miss World contest, where the most beautiful and talented girls in the world will be chosen.
