Automatic extension of deferrals has been launched in “Reserve”

On February 7, the automatic extension of deferrals was launched in the Reserve app. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The automatic extension of deferrals has been launched in the Reserve app for:
- people with disabilities who have the appropriate Pension Fund certificate
- students, graduate students and doctoral students
“Now it is enough to update the military document in the Reserve, and if there are grounds, the deferment will be extended automatically… Later this function will be available for parents with many children (three children in a joint marriage),” the minister added.
His deputy, Kateryna Chernogorenko , explained that previously, to extend the online deferment, a new request had to be sent in the application. Now it is enough to update the military document.
“Initially, the function will work for those deferments that were issued through the Reserve,” Chernogorenko added.

It should be noted that on January 5, the deferment service was partially restored in the Reserve mobile application. It was unavailable after an attack on state registries.
on January 19, the Ministry of Defense’s mobile application “Reserve” crashed. In particular, it is temporarily impossible to log in and use the functions.
Electronic deferrals were first introduced in the Reserves app in November 2024. Initially, they could be applied for by people with disabilities who have a pension certificate, as well as students, postgraduates and doctoral students.
“Reserve is an application from the Ministry of Defense that was launched on May 18, 2024. It provides access to the information in the Oberih register of persons liable for military service and allows persons liable for military service to update their data, just like in the TCC or ASC.
