More than 200 missiles and almost as many attack drones were used by Russia during the last two massive attacks on the Ukrainian energy system on November 17 and 28. The enemy does not just want to leave all Ukrainians without light and heat, it wants to sow despair and despondency. This is stated in a statement by Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The enemy is trying to destroy the Ukrainian energy system, sparing no effort to do so with hundreds of missiles and drones. But after each massive attack, we immediately begin to restore it. The stockpile of equipment we talked about was the right decision. Yes, not everything can always be done quickly, because the scale of damage can be significant,” said Oleksii Brekht, Acting CEO of NPC Ukrenergo.

After two consecutive massive attacks, the Ukrainian power system is now being restored once again. Power engineers are asking people to follow the recommendations for economical electricity consumption. They say this will speed up repairs and reduce the need for forced outages.

As a reminder, on November 28, Ukraine experienced the 11th massive Russian missile and drone attack. The attack resulted in large-scale blackouts in Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zhytomyr. Odesa and residents of Lviv, Rivne, and Volyn regions are partially without electricity.
