Supplies fuel to the Moscow region: The SBU struck a pumping station in Russia’s Vladimir Oblast
24 May 14:03
Specialists from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center struck the “Vtorovo” Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPD) in the Vladimir Region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the SBU.
The station is a key hub in the system of main oil product pipelines and transports raw materials (primarily diesel fuel) from oil refineries in central Russia to export ports and domestic consumers. It supplies fuel to large oil depots around Moscow and the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports.
“As a result of a successful drone attack by the SBU, a massive fire covering an area of 800 m² broke out at the facility,” the statement said.
Unlike the enemy, which deliberately attacks civilian infrastructure and peaceful people, Ukraine delivers precision strikes exclusively against military and strategic targets linked to sustaining Russian aggression.

The Security Service continues to systematically carry out the tasks set by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation, which is being used to wage war against Ukraine.
“The SBU is already preparing new special operations. The intensity of Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory will only increase. Our long-range sanctions will continue to be effective,” stated Yevhen Khmara, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries
Over the past two weeks, all major oil refineries in central Russia—including those in Ryazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, and “Kirishinefteorgsintez” (“Kinef”)—have significantly reduced processing or shut down completely. The combined capacity of the shut-down facilities exceeds 83 million tons per year (about a quarter of Russia’s total). They supplied over 30% of the country’s total automotive gasoline and about 25% of diesel fuel. A number of other refineries that could compensate for the lost volumes are also damaged and are either shut down or operating below full capacity.
