Zelenskyy is in the top 5 of the world leaders’ approval rating

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy ranks fifth in the rating of approval of world leaders among the population. This was reported by Kommersant Ukrainian with reference to the World of Statistics rating.

The World of Statistics has published a list of 28 countries, analysing the approval rating of the leaders of these countries by their own populations. In a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult Political Intelligence, WCIOM, KIIS, the approval ratings of world leaders among the population were revealed.

Top 5 of the rating:

1.Vladimir Putin (Russia): 79%

Despite the war against Ukraine, where hundreds of thousands of Russian citizens have been killed, Vladimir Putin retains an extremely high approval rating of 79% of the population.

2. Narendra Modi (India): 78%

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the second highest approval rating in the world, with an impressive 78% of Indian citizens supporting him.

3. Andres Lopez (Mexico): 65%

Mexican President Andrés López ranks third in the ranking of world leaders, enjoying the strong support of the Mexican population at 65%.

4. Javier Miley (Argentina): 63%

Argentina’s recently elected president, Javier Milei, is in fourth place with a notable 63% approval rating.

5. Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Ukraine): 60%

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy ranks fifth, maintaining a 60% approval rating despite the difficult challenges faced by his country due to military aggression from Russia.

According to the World of Statistics rating:

  • polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has 52% support from Poles,
  • swiss President Viola Amherd – 51%,
  • brazilian President Lula da Silva – 46%,
  • australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese – 46%,
  • prime Minister of Italy Georgia Meloni – 41%,
  • uS President Joe Biden – 37% of Americans,
  • turkish President Recep Erdogan – 36%,
  • prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak – 25%,
  • french President Emmanuel Macron – 23%.

The least supported among their own citizens in the approval rating are:

  • prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio – 18%,
  • czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala – 19%,
  • german Chancellor Olaf Scholz – 21%.
