Zelenskyy: military may be granted additional 15 days of vacation in August

Ukrainian military personnel will be able to receive an additional 15 days of annual leave – the decision is expected to come into force in August.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to him, he instructed to develop such an initiative, and it has already been agreed with the military command.
Currently, the main duration of annual leave for the military is up to 30 days. Additional leave is also possible in case of family circumstances or other exceptional circumstances.
In addition, since 2024, a mechanism has been in place to grant leave for the destruction of Russian equipment: 5 days for a downed airplane or ship, 3 days for a tank.
