On November 29, power outages will continue in all regions: how the schedules will work

Electricity consumption restrictions will be reintroduced in Ukraine on Saturday, November 29, with blackout schedules to be applied in all regions of the country. This was reported by Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The company explains that the reason remains the same: the consequences of Russia’s massive missile and drone strikes, which systematically destroy the energy infrastructure.
Why restrictions are being reintroduced
According to Ukrenergo, previous Russian attacks have significantly damaged the power system, including all large thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants.
Electricity generation is now insufficient to cover the needs of households and businesses. Therefore, power engineers have to balance the system through restrictions.
What blackouts will be in effect on November 29
From 00:00 to 23:59 throughout the country:
- hourly outage schedules for households will be applied – from 0.5 to 2.5 queues depending on the region;
- power limitation schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect.
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the time and duration of outages can change quickly, so it is worth following the updates of the regional power distribution companies on social networks.
How long will it last?
Russian shelling of energy infrastructure has been going on since September. According to the Ministry of Energy, all large thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants have been damaged, and power engineers are working in extremely difficult conditions.
on November 18, they warned that the blackout schedules could be in effect throughout the winter, as the war continues and the risk of new attacks remains high.

“When electricity is supplied on schedule, please use it sparingly,” the company emphasized.
