Ukrenergo said it does not expect any power cuts on Thursday, 30 May. This was reported by the company’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“No blackouts are expected on 30 May. If the situation in the power grid changes, we will inform you about the blackouts additionally,”

– the company said.

Earlier, Ukrenergo said that there would be no blackouts on 28 and 29 May, and the schedules were not actually applied on those days. This is due to the fact that the second nuclear unit was taken out of service during the week.

The operator urges to consume electricity sparingly and responsibly, noting that the best time for the power system to use energy-intensive appliances is from 11:00-17:00.

During peak load hours (08:00-11:00 and 18:00-22:00), it is better to refrain from using them or limit them as much as possible, the regional power company advises.
