On the morning of December 17, at least 1 case of Shahed entering Belarus was recorded, and in total, since July 11, 2024, at least 356 drones of various types have flown into Belarus. Of these, 351 are Russian Shahed kamikaze drones. This was reported by Belaruski Gayun, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs.
The publication also used this news story to present a large update of the online map of military activity in Belarus, which can be found here.
The updated map also has a new section dedicated to drones. There you can find out the time, location, direction and other details of each of the 351 Shaheds and 5 reconnaissance drones entering Belarus, broken down by day. It also lists all known places of explosion/shooting down/dropping of UAVs in Belarus for all time.
The publication states that cases of enemy UAVs entering the airspace of Belarus continue to increase:
July – 9,
August – 12,
September – 30,
October – 49,
November – 151.
In December, 105 Russian drones “violated” the peace of Belarusian air defense.
In addition, 163 drones were lost during the monitoring period, which means that right now there may be dozens of crashed drones lying around somewhere in Belarus.
Also, over the past 5 months, Belaruski Gayun has recorded 10 cases of downing or crashing of “Shaheds” in Belarus and Latvia. There was also one case of a building being destroyed as a result of a UAV crash.
All this information is now displayed on the updated map of Belaruski Gajun.
