5 most expensive films that Ukraine has allocated money for this year

At the end of 2024, the State Film Agency of Ukraine published film production agreements worth UAH 518.84 million on Prozorro. The Nashi Hroshi publication has published a list of cinematic works that will cost the state budget the most, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The animated film “Our Family”
UAH 30 million was allocated for it. The film promotes the recruitment of boys to the Armed Forces.
Thedirector is Kostyantyn Fedorov. The scriptwriters are Mykhailo Karpenko, Ivan Bon and Pavlo Mandzych.
The film will be produced by Animagrad LLC, owned by producer and composer Yegor Olesov, and Film U.A. Management and Investments LLC, whose beneficiaries are Iryna Kostiuk and lawyers Serhiy Sozanovsky and Serhiy Konnov.
The plot of the movie: Serhiy, a 30-year-old gas station attendant, a loser in life, is given a second chance by heaven after an accidental death. But in order to realize it and come back to life, he needs to find a person who truly loves him and who really needs him. Sergei has absolutely no one on Earth except his father, whom he has never known in his life, but he has no choice. The search leads Serhiy to the war in the Chop Pirates unit, which consists of former Transcarpathian smugglers.
Feature film “Fierce Hello”
UAH 24.96 million was allocated for the film.

The plot of the film: This is a story about the heroic deed of an ordinary IT specialist who destroyed a whole platoon of orcs and met his love in the war.
Historical fiction drama “House of Chimeras”
UAH 24 million was allocated from the state budget to create the film.
Thedirector is Denys Tarasov. The screenwriter is Oles Ilchenko, the author of the detective novel The City with Chimeras.
Producer: Ukrainian Production Hub LLC, owned by Serhiy Lytvynenko, Oleksiy Terentyev, Yuriy Artemenko, and Olga Panteleimonova.
The plot of the movie: The action will take place in the 1900s, in the era of new construction in Kyiv. Several buildings designed by Vladyslav Horodetskyi are being built in the city. But the fashionable architect is haunted by nightmares that bode ill. To save Kyiv, he has to complete a mystical quadrangle to counterbalance the ominous triangle.

UAH 23.9 million will be allocated from the state budget for the film.

The delegation’s security is entrusted to two friends, experienced OUN SB agents Taras and Dmytro. Taras is too radical and wants to kill Stashynsky in revenge for Bandera. Diplomatic Dmytro restrains him.
