Agrarians have received UAH 51 billion in loans since the beginning of the year
12 June 2024 09:15This year, more than 7,000 Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have received almost UAH 51 billion in bank loans, including UAH 21 billion under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 programme. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Since the beginning of the year, 7,630 agricultural enterprises have received almost UAH 51 billion in bank loans for development. Of these, 4,521 farms were financed by the state programme “Affordable Loans 5-7-9″ for UAH 21.3 billion,”
– the statement said.
The largest volume of loans under various programmes was received by farmers in the following regions:
- Kyiv – UAH 14 billion allocated to 715 enterprises;
- Kirovohrad – UAH 3.1 billion for 928 companies;
- Dnipropetrovska – UAH 3.1 billion for 563;
- Lviv – UAH 3 billion for 465;
- Ternopil – UAH 2.9 billion for 291;
- Vinnytsia – UAH 2.9 billion for 727;
- Poltava – UAH 2.7 billion for 429;
- Odesa – UAH 2.6 billion for 628.
Under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” programme, the largest amount of money was provided to businesses in the following regions:
- Kyiv region – UAH 2.6 billion for 422 farms;
- Kirovograd – UAH 2 billion for 603;
- Vinnytsia – UAH 2 billion for 456;
- Kharkiv – UAH 1.85 billion allocated to 286;
- Odesa – UAH 1.6 billion for 405;
- Dnipropetrovska – UAH 1.2 billion for 283;
- Volyn – UAH 1.2 billion for 236.
It is worth noting that farmers can receive 25% compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery purchased by 86 Ukrainian producers; the updated list of domestic machinery and equipment for the agricultural sector includes products of 24 more Ukrainian producers.
