ALVIVA GROUP expands its presence in the bread market with a new FLATBREAD category

Keeping ahead of global consumer trends, ALVIVA GROUP, a leading player in the Ukrainian food industry, is making a strategic breakthrough into the FLATBREAD category – thin flat breads that are rapidly gaining popularity around the world.
The Group is expanding the range of the KIEVKHLIB brand with three new lines of flat ethnic breads in the flatbread category: Tia Tortilla, Takolini mini pita breads and Doner King pita breads.
The global forecast to 2031 suggests that the flatbread category will grow by more than 50%, continuing the existing trend. As consumers seek new culinary experiences, demand for flat ethnic breads such as Mexican Tako, Greek Pita, Indian Roti, Spanish Tortilla, and Italian Piadina is growing rapidly.
Flatbread becomes the basis for new culinary formats and significantly expands the product range of supermarkets, serving a wide consumer base.

The flatbread lines are produced at the facilities of Ukrainian Bakery House LLC in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. The potential capacity of the new production line is over 500,000 units per month. As of today, the line is already more than 50% utilized, with the planned full capacity by the end of 2025.
The flatbread line from Kyivkhlib includes:
- Tia Tortilla – Grano Spanish, Grano Olive – for breakfast, toast and pizza;
- Takolini – Basilico, Integral, Mexi, Tomatti, Cheesy – mini-pita breads with flavors for gastronomic experiments in the South American and Mediterranean style;
- Doner King XXL – pita bread for a large shawarma, kebab or just for a barbecue – quality for professional use, both in HORECA and at home.
The lines of ethnic flat breads continued the tradition of familiarizing Ukrainians with the flavor characteristics, production technologies, consumption culture and history of bakery products from different parts of the world, which the group started in 2024.
This tradition has transformed the perception of bread from an everyday side dish to a product for creativity, self-expression and gastronomic inspiration.
Products from the new flatbread category by the KIEVSKHLIB brand are already available on the shelves of national retail chains: Fora, Silpo, Auchan, VARUS, etc.
