A tragic event occurred in Krakow: thomas Kokoszynski, a 42-year-old American businessman of Polish descent who planned to invest in the famous Polish football club Wisła Kraków, died after choking on a dumpling during lunch. What happened
Thomas Kokoszynski choked on a piece of dumpling (pierogi) while eating dinner in a restaurant in the suburbs of Krakow.
He lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he was put on a ventilator and the fight for his life began.
In the hospital, doctors diagnosed irreversible brain damage. on June 10, the businessman was disconnected from the ventilator and died.

Kokoszynski intended to invest about $5 million in Wisła Kraków and get a stake, thereby supporting the club, which is in a difficult financial situation. According to media reports, the negotiations were at the final stage and the businessman even attended the team’s matches.

Thomas is a Polish-born entrepreneur who lived in the United States. He headed Metalogic Industries, a company specializing in metalworking for the automotive, aviation, and energy industries.
After graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he built a successful business with annual revenues of about $9 million.
