The AMCU fines two companies UAH 4.9 million: what is the reason?

The Temporary Administrative Board of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has found that DSZ LLC and Nikopolgazbud PE committed anticompetitive concerted actions aimed at distorting the results of a tender for the reconstruction of a soft roof under a tent roof with insulation of the facades of the main building of the Children’s Sanatorium No. 1. This was reported by the press service of the AMCU, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
It is noted that the procurement was carried out by the Department of Capital Construction of the Dnipro Regional State Administration in 2019, with an expected cost of more than UAH 14 million.
In the course of the proceedings, the Temporary Administrative Board of the AMCU found a set of circumstances confirming violations by the said business entities and the elimination of competition between them during participation in the said bidding.
In addition, the panel found facts indicating joint and coordinated actions of the companies during the preparation and conduct of the bidding.
DSZ LLC and Nikopolgazbud PE were fined a total of UAH 4 million 914 thousand 100.
