Andriy Shevchenko said to be a UK resident: what it means

Today, during a reporting press conference, UAF President Andriy Shevchenko confirmed the information that he is a UK resident. He said this while answering questions from the journalists present, Komersant ukrainskyi 
reports.
UK resident status means that such a person pays taxes in this country and must be physically present in its territory for 183 or more days in a tax year.
Shevchenko did not respond to clarifications regarding such a restriction in the context of serving as UAF president, asking that these questions be sent to him in writing.
