Vianelde anticyclone to hit Ukraine: weather forecast for November 6

Today, on November 6, the weather in Ukraine will be determined by the Vianelde anticyclone, which will provide calm, dry and relatively warm conditions. However, this synoptic situation will create ideal conditions for fog formation. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko warns about this, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The anticyclone named Vianelde will cause stable calm weather with low winds. However, such a synoptic situation in November is almost ideal for fog, which is what they use. So, on November 6, Ukraine is expected to have a weather without precipitation, with occasional fogs – dear drivers, pay double attention on the roads! – and comfortable air temperature,” the forecaster said.

The temperature is expected to be 3-8 degrees overnight, 10-14 degrees tomorrow afternoon, and up to 16 degrees in the south.

What the weather will be like in the regions

Throughout Ukraine – without precipitation, with light winds and dense morning fog.

In Kyiv, fog is likely, without rain. The temperature will remain around 10° throughout the day.

In the south, it will be the warmest, up to 16°, with sunshine in some places.

In the west and north, it will be calm, dry, and partly cloudy.

According to Natalia Didenko, the warm weather will continue until the end of the week:

“It will be even warmer on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A short-term cold snap is expected after November 11. But let’s not forget that November is an autumn month, and even the snow of this period is a temporary phenomenon.”

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the weather situation in Ukraine will not change significantly: the weather will be determined by a high pressure field, so no precipitation is expected.

“Please also note that according to the forecasters’ warning, fog is expected in the western, northern and eastern regions at night and in the morning due to warm, humid air mass and weak winds of variable directions, so be careful and cautious. As for the temperature, the weather will remain warm today, as it is for November,” the statement said.

Thus, at night we expect temperatures within 2-7° Celsius, during the day the thermometer will reach 8… 13°, in the south of the country, the warmest will be from 12 to 17°.
