Apple CEO Tim Cook has intrigued the public with a message about the imminent announcement of a new product, hinting at a presentation this week. This was reported by MacRumors, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs
“Something’s in the air,” Cook said in a teaser message posted on social media.
This phrase, according to MacRumors, is a clear hint of the imminent release of the new MacBook Air, which, according to insiders, is very close.
It is noteworthy that Apple has already used the slogan “something is in the air” in 2008, when it first introduced the original MacBook Air. This reinforces the belief that the upcoming announcement is related to the update of the popular line of ultra-thin laptops.
Tim Cook published a similar teaser last year before the iPhone 16e announcement. Like last time, it is expected that the new MacBook Air (or any other product presented) will be announced via a press release on the Apple Newsroom website and possibly an accompanying YouTube video.
According to preliminary data, the new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models will receive a number of significant improvements, including the latest M4 processor, Thunderbolt 4 ports, Center Stage camera for video calls, and extended battery life.
It is worth noting that Apple has other products with the Air prefix, such as iPad Air and AirTag. Information about the imminent release of the new iPad Air is also circulating online, but most analysts agree that the MacBook Air is the most likely candidate for the announcement “this week.”
