The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets (ARMA) has announced a tender to select a manager for the property of former MP Viktor Medvedchuk. Among the assets to be transferred to management is residential real estate in Kyiv. According to experts, the market value of these assets is over UAH 123 million.
The funds received from the management of this property will be directed directly to the State Budget of Ukraine. This will allow these assets to work for the defense of the state, the ARMA emphasized, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The tender, announced through the Prozorro public procurement system on August 14, concerns several properties owned by Medvedchuk. These include three apartments in Kyiv and a 731.6-square-meter residential building. In addition, a 0.0775-hectare land plot on the banks of the Dnipro River with access to Obolonska embankment.
Out of the three apartments of the former MP, one with an area of 98.7 square meters is located in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. Medvedchuk had two other apartments of 51.2 square meters and 69.1 square meters in the Obolon district of the capital. Interestingly, the Prozorro website lists the addresses of all four properties that will be at the disposal of the manager.
So, before deciding whether to pay UAH 300 thousand for this pleasure (this is the starting price at the “negative auction”), you can try to go on a tour. At least, if you don’t have access to the apartments themselves, you can look at the level of the residential complex where they are located. The 98.7-square-meter apartment is registered at 1-B Mayakovskoho Avenue, apartment 55, and the modest Obolon apartment of 51.2 square meters is registered at 48 Heroiv Stalingrada Avenue, apartment 7.
Medvedchukov’s 69.1-square-meter apartment is located at 99/4 Avtozavodska Street, apartment 43. Finally, the 731.6 sqm luxury mansion can be found at: 57 Obolonskaya Embankment. The deadline for submitting bids is August 29, 2025, so all interested parties who meet the qualification criteria can submit their proposals.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the court banned the sale of Medvedchuk’s assets, citing “possible risks of alienation and reduction of the value of assets.” According to the court, their sale could be hindered if decisions were made to recover these assets for the state. ARMA is currently appealing this decision in court and has already suspended all active auctions.
In 2024, the state sold property belonging to Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko for more than UAH 10 million. The buyers were non-public and little-known individuals. on November 13 last year, the first auction of paintings from Medvedchuk’s collection was held on the Prozorro.Sale website. 16 paintings were sold for a total of almost UAH 317 thousand.
As a reminder, on January 13, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada deprived Viktor Medvedchuk of his parliamentary mandate, and in May of the same year he was disbarred. Currently, Medvedchuk and his wife live in Russia, where he was transferred in exchange for the Ukrainian military. In Ukraine, the former MP is suspected of treason.
