Artem Dovbyk is among the top 30 best scorers in the world

Artem Dovbyk, a striker for the Ukrainian national team and Italian side Roma, was ranked 29th in the ranking of candidates for the Ballon d’Or. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the official pages of the award on social networks.
A total of 30 players were nominated for the award for the world’s best footballer.
Dovbyk shared 29th place with the current Champions League finalist, German defender Mats Hummels.
dovbyk, 27, became the first Ukrainian footballer to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or since 2006, when Andriy Shevchenko won the award.
Last season, Dovbyk defended the colors of Girona and became the top scorer in the Spanish league with 24 goals.

Dovbyk was born in Cherkasy, where he started playing professional football for Cherkasy Dnipro in 2014 as a striker.
He also played for Dnipro from the city of the same name and went on loan to the Moldovan club Zorya from the city of Balti.
In 2018-2020, he played in Denmark for Midtjylland and Sønderjylland, with whom he won the national championship and cup.
Later he returned to Ukraine to SC Dnipro-1.
