Why it matters

Dnipro and Dnipro region remain one of the most attacked areas of Ukraine. The region is a key logistics hub and rear center for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so the enemy regularly tries to disrupt infrastructure and destabilize civilian life.

As a reminder, Russian attacks with kamikaze drones and guided bombs have become a systemic phenomenon in the war against Ukraine. According to the Air Force, in September 2025 alone, Russia launched more than 500 Shahed drones. At the same time, strikes on large cities, including Dnipro, are accompanied by the targeted destruction of energy and industrial infrastructure.
