An atmospheric front from Europe will bring rain, sleet and fog: drivers are warned of poor visibility

On December 11, weather conditions in Ukraine will be shaped by an atmospheric front from Western Europe. This was reported by the Ukrainian Weather Center, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Where to expect precipitation
According to weather forecasters, light rains will fall in the northwest at night. During the day, the precipitation zone will shift to the northern and central regions, as well as to Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.
In the northeast, rain will turn into sleet in some places. Other regions will remain without precipitation.
Fog and transportation risks
A drop in atmospheric pressure and high humidity will contribute to the formation of fog. Visibility will decrease to 200-500 meters at night and in the morning, with forecasters warning of traffic risks.
Temperature and wind
The wind will be westerly and southwesterly, with a speed of 5-10 m/s.

- duringthe day – 4… 9°;
- east and North-East – cooler, 0…5° throughout the day.
Weather in Kyiv
In the capital and the region – cloudy with clearings. No precipitation is forecast at night, with light rain possible during the day.
Fog is also expected with visibility of 200-500 meters.
