Medvedchuk’s buggy and ATV sold for almost a million hryvnias

Abuggy and an ATV belonging to former MP, Putin’s godfather and traitor to Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk were sold at auction. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the ARMA.
“The Asset Recovery and Management Agency continues to successfully sell the illegally acquired property of Viktor Medvedchuk, a traitor to Ukraine. This time, 1 buggy and 1 ATV were sold on Prozorro.Sale, the total sale price for the two vehicles was UAH 921,777.00,” the press service said.
Almost a million hryvnias will be transferred to the ARMA’s deposit portfolio, and the money will be used to buy military bonds.
“Accordingly, the proceeds from the property of the traitor will go directly to support the Ukrainian Defence Forces,” the agency said.
A Traxter Max ATV and a Traxter Defender Max XT HD10 CAN AM buggy were sold at the auction. Another Traxter Max ATV could not be sold because there were no bidders. It will be put up for another auction.
The starting price of the lots was UAH 735,063 (CAN AM Traxter Defender Max XT HD10 buggy), UAH 154,409 (Traxter Max ATV) and UAH 161,637 (Traxter Max ATV).
It is worth noting that the arrested 92-metre yacht Royal Romance, which belonged to Medvedchuk, has been granted the status of a Ukrainian vessel, which means that the vessel is subject to the jurisdiction of Ukraine.
In April 2022, in the course of criminal proceedings, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine seized 264 paintings by Viktor Medvedchuk. By court order, they were transferred to the ARMA for sale.
on 17 April, ARMA announced that it planned to put the paintings from Medvedchuk’s collection up for sale. At the same time, at the initiative of the National Agency for the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of Ukraine, experts were engaged to conduct an art historical examination of the paintings.
Medvedchuk’s collection includes works by twentieth-century Transcarpathian artists, including Yosyp Bokshay, Havrylo Gluck and Adalbert Erdeli, a landscape by painter Volodymyr Orlovsky, a painting by Ivan Aivazovsky, as well as icons made of amber and beads. Some of the paintings are worth up to $50,000.
Medvedchuk’s arrest
On 12 April 2022, Medvedchuk himself was arrested as a result of a special SBU operation. He is a defendant in several criminal cases of treason and economic crimes.
on 21 September, Viktor Medvedchuk was exchanged for Ukrainian soldiers held by Russia. As a result, 215 Ukrainian defenders were returned from captivity.
