US President Joe Biden has said that US weapons will not be used to strike at Moscow or the Kremlin. He said this in an interview with ABC News, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The journalist asked Biden whether US weapons have already been used in Russia after the authorisation to use them in the border areas with Kharkiv region. The US president did not give a direct answer, but made it clear that it would not be authorised to strike the Russian capital or government.
“It is authorised to be used near the border when it is used on the other side of the border to strike specific targets in Ukraine. We don’t authorise strikes 200 miles [320 km – ed.] inside Russia, and we don’t authorise strikes against Moscow or the Kremlin,”

The host also asked the American president about Vladimir Putin’s statements that “supplying Ukraine with precision weapons to strike Russian territory is a direct participation in this war”. “Does that bother you?” – the journalist asked Biden.
“I’ve known him for over 40 years. He has been bothering me for 40 years. He is not a decent person. He’s a dictator, and he’s trying to keep his country together while continuing this aggression. We’re not talking about giving them weapons to strike Moscow, the Kremlin, or anywhere outside the border areas…”
