A car caught fire and exploded near the residence of the French Prime Minister in Paris. This was reported by Le Parisien, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The explosion occurred at about 9:30 a.m. near the Matignon Palace during a scheduled meeting of outgoing Prime Minister Sébastien Le Coronneu with fellow politicians from the central bloc.

A truck burned down. According to police, there were gas cylinders inside the vehicle, which raised concerns about a more powerful detonation.

It is noted that the explosion did not result in any cylinders. The Paris Fire Department reported that the source of the explosion sound was small aerosol cans, not gas.

The fire resulted in thick smoke, and the perimeter around the car was cordoned off. The fire did not spread to neighboring buildings and no one was injured.

on October 6, the Elysee Palace announced that French Prime Minister Sébastien Le Coronne had tendered his resignation and Macron accepted it.

Thus, Sébastien Le Coronneu’s term as head of the French government was the shortest in the country’s history. He headed the Cabinet for less than a month.

Lecorneuil was appointed prime minister on September 9 after the French National Assembly expressed no confidence in the government of then-Prime Minister François Bayrou over a proposed austerity package that included cuts in social spending.
