The Bureau of Economic Security is temporarily headed by Serhii Perkhun: what is known about him

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Serhiy Perkhun as acting head of the Bureau of Economic Security, a Komersant ukrainskyi 
correspondent reports.
Serhiy Perkhun was the deputy director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine. He was born in Kharkiv in 1977. He graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine with a degree in law.
From 1999 to 2007, he worked in the prosecutor’s office, and from 2007 to 2009, he worked in private companies. In 2009, he returned to the prosecutor’s office, but this time to senior positions, where he worked until 2023. Since 2023, Serhii Perkhun has been the deputy head of the territorial department of the BES in Kyiv region and deputy director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
In his declaration for 2022, filed in 2023, Perkhun recorded UAH 1.3 million in salary at the Dnipro Regional Prosecutor’s Office and another UAH 348 thousand in other income. Perkhun declared UAH 1.5 million and USD 7 thousand in cash. USD in cash, as well as EUR 1,221 and USD 144 in bank accounts. USD in bank accounts. He owned three cars, the total value of which was estimated at more than UAH 2 million. At the same time, the official did not declare any real estate.
