A charity longsleeve that saves lives
16 July 2025 14:50
The social project “We Are of One Blood” together with the NGO “Vshanui” released a charity long sleeve with the symbol of the National Minute of Silence. Half of the proceeds from the sale will be used to support military medics and purchase tactical medicine.
Symbolism and design
The central element of the design is the inscription “09:00” on the heart of the long sleeve, which indicates the time of the National Minute of Silence. The right hand bears the inscription “Time of Unity” – this is the hand that is held to the heart during the minute of silence. The design was created by Ukrainian illustrator Artem Gusev.
“I have seen people’s reactions when you show them why the inscription is on the hand. And everyone says “wow”, everyone is delighted. Because it’s about the symbols and values that you can now broadcast by wearing this long sleeve,”
– says Kateryna Datsenko, co-founder of the NGO “Vshanui”.

Support from FUIB
Financial support for the project is provided by FUIB. The bank is also introducing a new tradition – the “Minute of Unity” as part of its internal events. For the FUIB team, this is a time to think about how to support each other, the defenders and the country.

Charitable component
fUIB allocates 50% of the cost of each order to critically important areas:
- purchase of tactical medicine for the NGO Blood Agents;
- payment for the delivery of donated blood to hot spots for the NGO DonorUA;
- purchase of equipment for military medics at the front for the NGO “Hospitallers”.
Project results
The We Are One Blood project has already saved 183,303 lives. The organizers emphasize that this special drop demonstrates how memory can save lives – by wearing a longsleeve, a person does not just express a position, but acts.
