The British authorities have delivered hundreds of Martlet (Lightweight Multirole Missile, LMM) missiles to Ukraine ahead of schedule. Information about this appeared on the website of the UK Ministry of Defense, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The missiles, made in Belfast, are used to protect Ukraine’s airspace and were delivered five months ahead of schedule under the British donation program,” the statement said.

It is noted that Thales, which manufactures the missiles, has moved on to implement the last stage of the £1.6 billion deal with Ukraine. As a result, Martlet missiles should become an important part of Ukraine’s air defense.

on October 10, the German concern Rheinmetall announced that it had shipped Skyranger 35 air defense systems based on the Leopard 1 tank to Kyiv using funds received from frozen Russian assets. The cost of the order is in the three-digit millions of euros.
