Rains to cover parts of Ukraine: weather forecast for 29 August

Today, 29 August, in some regions of Ukraine, the temperature is expected to drop to 28…31°C. Thunderstorms are also possible in the south of the country. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Thus, in the southern part of Ukraine, in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Zhytomyr regions, the lowest temperature will be 28…31 °C in the afternoon on 29 August.
The rest of Ukraine is expected to be hot with temperatures of 30…35 °C.
“Thunderstorm rains will also take place on Thursday in the southern part of Ukraine and will sometimes reach Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Dnipro and Donetsk regions,” the forecaster added.
It is noted that on 29 August, Kyiv is expected to experience temperatures of 32…34 °C. Precipitation is not expected.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre, the weather will remain mostly dry throughout the country.
The only exceptions will be the southern regions, where short-term rains and isolated thunderstorms are possible. The wind will be mostly northeast at 5-10 m/s.
The temperature will be 16-21° at night and 28-33° during the day.
In the Carpathian region and in some southern regions, daytime temperatures may be lower, ranging from 24 to 29°.
