Queues at the Ukrainian border: situation at the checkpoints as of the morning of December 23

The traditional increase in passenger traffic is observed at the border before the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service published data on queues as of 09:00 on December 23, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The largest load is traditionally recorded in the direction of Poland, in particular for buses and cars.
Border with Poland
Queues remain in the Polish direction. Pedestrian traffic is not allowed at most checkpoints, and at some there are temporary restrictions for cars.
- Yahodyn – 30 buses (pedestrians are not allowed through; cars are temporarily not cleared)
- Ustyluh – 40 cars, 25 buses
- Uhryniv – 20 cars, 11 buses
- Rava-Ruska – 20 cars, no buses
- Hrushe – no queues
- Krakivets – 30 cars, 11 buses
- Shehyni – 6 buses (after passport control; pedestrian traffic is allowed in both directions)
- Smilnytsia – no queues, pedestrians are not allowed
- Nyzhankovychi – 20 cars
The border with Slovakia
Moderate traffic is observed in the Slovak direction.
- Maly Berezny – 10 cars (pedestrians are allowed in both directions)
- Uzhhorod – 40 cars
- Mali Selmentsi is a pedestrian crossing point, open from 09:00 to 21:00
Border with Hungary
Queues have increased compared to the morning hours, mostly for cars.
- Tisa – 15 cars
- Dzvinkove – 15 cars (open from 08:00 to 19:00)
- Kosyno – 30 cars (open from 08:00 to 20:00)
- Luzhanka – 20 cars
- Vylok – no queues
- Velyka Palad – no queues (open from 08:00 to 19:00)
Border with Romania
The situation on the Romanian side remains stable – there are no queues.
- Dyakove, Solotvyno, Porubne, Krasnoilsk, Dyakivtsi – no queues, no pedestrian traffic
Border with Moldova
No congestion was recorded at the checkpoints to Moldova.
- Mamalyha, Kelmentsi, Rososhany, Sokyryany – no queues for cars, buses and pedestrians
