Andrej Babiš, the head of the Action of Dissatisfied Citizens movement that won the Czech parliamentary elections, went on vacation for a week instead of participating in a dialogue on the formation of the future cabinet.
This was reported by Novinky.cz, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Next week I will go on vacation at my own expense,” said the politician, who initially wanted to form a government within a week after the election, but eventually postponed this event to December.
While Babiš is on vacation, his deputies, Jelena Šillerová and Karel Havlicek, will be in charge of the negotiations.
The movement led by Babiš won the October 4 elections. He became the main candidate for prime minister.
The politician is often called the “Czech Trump” and compared to the US president. He considers the American leader to be his friend. Babiš also advocates for a closer focus on domestic policy and a shift away from funding Ukraine.
