Men are more prone to pathological jealousy than women – polygraph examiner

Women are more likely to be permanently jealous of men, while men are pathologically jealous. It is the husband who may suspect his wife of infidelity for years and even force her to take a polygraph test.
Volodymyr Vedmid, the head of the National Association of Polygraph Examiners of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Pathological or, as I call them, sick jealous people are more about men. This is, for example, when the wife went to the grocery store, was delayed for 10 minutes, and the husband believes that she had sexual intercourse with someone at that time. This happens, and it is more common among men,” he said.
Medved notes that there are cases when a “sick” person brings a “healthy” person for polygraph testing. For a specialist, this is always an incomprehensible and somewhat painful situation.
“It is painful to see a husband bring his wife for polygraph testing every three to four months. This is grief.
I am especially surprised when people over 50 and sometimes over 60, and this is again more common among men, start to investigate the question: what happened at the well 20-30 years ago? Did the wife kiss someone?
Because women, unlike men, are concerned with the issues of the period of one or two years of family life. Men, on the other hand, are capable of obsessing and being anxious for longer,” explained Vedmid.
