Black Friday at monobank: Ukrainians set a record for spending and purchases in parts

This year’s Black Friday was a record-breaking one for monobank customers – users made more than 89 thousand purchases in installments, which is the highest figure for the entire period of the service’s existence. This was announced by the bank’s co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The average check during the campaign reached 13,500 hryvnias, which indicates a stable demand for appliances and other popular categories of goods even in the face of economic pressure.

Who sold the most: the leaders of Black Friday

According to monobank, COMFY, a home appliance and electronics chain, received the most orders this year.

The second position was taken by the bank’s own store, monomarket, which continues to increase sales.

At the same time, the jewelry chain SOVA set an absolute record for the largest check.

What Ukrainians most often bought in installments

The most popular categories of purchases were

  • smartphones
  • headphones
  • consumer electronics (vacuum cleaners, TVs)
  • clothes and shoes,

The best-selling items in the monobank branded store are:

  • Apple AirPods 4 White
  • PlayStation 5
  • iPhone 17 Pro 256 GB
  • Apple AirPods 3
  • DualSense controller.

How many people made purchases in the mono market

According to the bank:

  • the number of purchases made in installments in the mono market amounted to 15,710
  • the longest purchase was made for 25 months
  • the most expensive purchase was UAH 244,999

monobank reports that the demand for installment payments continues to grow every year – and 2024 was the most successful year since the launch of the service.
