“Pure terror”: the West’s first reaction to the strikes on Okhmatdet

Several Western diplomats in Ukraine have already reacted to today’s Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities, including on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian"
German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger was the first to react. According to him, Russia is waging a war against the civilian population of Ukraine and this is what Russia’s readiness for peace looks like.
The US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, also reacted.

According to the latest reports, the Russians killed two adults in Okhmatdyt, the rescue operation is ongoing, and there may be children under the rubble. In total, 10 people have been killed in Kyiv: the entrance to the building was also destroyed, and there are people under the rubble. In Dnipro, Russia damaged a multi-storey building and a business: one person was killed and 6 wounded. The enemy also fired rockets at Kryvyi Rih: 10 dead and 31 wounded.
Today’s attacks took place on the eve of the NATO summit, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow, 9 July, and amid increasingly active talks about possible formats of peace or truce with Russia. In particular, even a Russian version of a peace plan is circulating online.
