This weekend, Ukraine celebrates two major holidays. on August 23, Ukrainians celebrate the National Flag Day, and on Sunday, August 24, they will celebrate one of the most important holidays for every Ukrainian, the Independence Day of Ukraine. This Sunday, Ukraine will celebrate the 34th anniversary of the restoration of its independence, as it was on August 24, 1991, that the Act of Independence of Ukraine was signed.
