The State Service of Special Communications has restricted access to 16 online pharmacies: what you need to know

The National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Electronic Communication Networks of Ukraine, which is subordinated to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), has issued an order to block 16 online pharmacy websites. The document was published on the official website of the service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“Providers of electronic communication networks and/or services are to temporarily restrict access to Internet resources in a technically feasible manner,” the agency’s website says, citing a list of online pharmacies that are to be blocked.

The list of online pharmacies to which access is restricted

The National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Electronic Communication Networks of Ukraine has published a list of 16 websites to which providers must restrict access. Here is the full list:

  2. evromedics.com.ua
  3. europharm.com.ua
  4. yabloko-apteka.com.ua
  5. medtabletka.com
  6. te.kiev.ua
  7. onkoliki.com.ua
  8. bpharm.com.ua
  9. tiva-pharm.com.ua
  10. one-apteka.com.ua
  11. a24.com.ua
  12. aptekadobraya.com.ua
  13. globalimpex.com.ua
  14. med-dopomoga.com
  15. b12-apteka.com.ua
  16. normaplus.com.ua

These resources, according to the State Service of Special Communications, do not meet the requirements for pharmaceutical activities in Ukraine.

Requirements for providers

According to the order, providers of electronic communication networks and services are obliged to:

  • Technically restrict access to the specified websites as soon as possible.
  • Send confirmation of compliance with the requirements
  • Ensure compliance with the order until martial law is lifted in Ukraine.

Providers must use all available technical means to block access, including DNS, IP address filtering or other methods.
