The average salary of full-time employees in Ukraine has increased and exceeded the pre-war period. This was reported by the State Statistics Service, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the agency, in the third quarter of 2024, the average salary increased by 22.3% compared to the same period last year, reaching UAH 21,946. Compared to 2021, when this figure was UAH 14,014, the average salary increased by 56.6%.
This discrepancy in salary levels is explained by the depreciation of the hryvnia and its depreciation. However, in dollar terms, wages have also increased. In 2024, it amounted to $532, which is higher than in 2021, when the average income was $514.
