Germany is ready to accept children from Okhmatdyt: details

Germany is ready to receive children who were treated at the Kyiv Okhmatdyt hospital when a Russian missile hit one of the buildings of the medical institution. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" news agency citing a post by German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach on the social network X.
“I promised Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko that we will accept sick children in need at any time; the next rescue flight will take off on Wednesday (10 July – ed.),” the head of the German ministry wrote.
Karl Lauterbach added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again shown that he is a war criminal by shelling the children’s hospital.

During a national telethon, Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko spoke about the consequences of the missile attack on the hospital and what is happening around it.
According to the Health Minister, more than 50 employees and young patients of the hospital were injured. He said that when the missile hit one of the hospital’s buildings, there were 670 patients in Okhmatdyt. Currently, there are 7 wounded children, but their lives are not in danger.
Lyashko also provided details about a nephrologist who was killed during the attack by the Russian Armed Forces. The doctor was helping to evacuate children patients.
