A single Diia.Card has been created to receive all government payments

The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ukrainian banks have joined forces to launch a unified Diia.Card, which should make it easier to receive payments from the state. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Thus, Ukrainians receiving government benefits will have one convenient tool instead of several different cards.

“We created the card together with banks to make it easier for you to receive payments from the state. Our philosophy is to continuously create convenient products and to organize and improve even what we have launched before. So later on, you will no longer have to issue new cards every time to receive benefits or other government payments,” said Mykhailo Fedorov.

He said that Diia.Card can now be opened in several banks that were the first to join:

– PrivatBank

– A-bank

– Accordbank

– Globus Bank

– monobank

The day before, the launch of the new card was announced by Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky.

According to him, this card should become a single place for all government payments.

“Finally, each new payment from the state will not create 1 card in your wallet. In addition, it will theoretically be possible to receive salaries, scholarships, social benefits, and even your own money there. However, this requires appropriate legislative changes,” explained Oleg Gorokhovsky.

Mykhailo Fedorov also announced plans to further transfer eSupport payments to a single card, including those made in 2021-2023. And this month, he said, another social payment will be launched.

The first payment on the unified Diia.Card will be UAH 908.40, which Ukrainian citizens who have turned 18 can already receive under the eBook program and spend on purchasing books in Ukrainian.
