National security advisors from 15 European and NATO countries visit Kyiv

On Saturday, January 3, national security advisors from European countries arrived in Kyiv.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", this was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on his Telegram channel.
The meetings are attended by representatives of Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Representatives of NATO, the European Council and the European Commission also joined the talks.
According to Mr. Umerov, the day is going to be busy. The parties will discuss security and economic issues, work with the framework documents, and coordination of Ukraine’s further steps with international partners.
Meeting of advisors from the US and Europe
At the end of the year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine plans to hold a meeting at the level of advisors from the United States and Europe, which could take place as early as January.
“This meeting will take place, I started discussing it immediately after my meeting with Trump (US President – ed.). I have already contacted Macron (French President – ed.), several other partners of ours, and I will continue these consultations and there will be such a meeting,” Zelensky added.
