DODGER in service: The Armed Forces of Ukraine received a new Ukrainian ground combat robot

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved for use in the Defense Forces a new unmanned ground robotic system DODGER, developed by Ukrainian engineers based on combat experience, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The press service of the defense ministry reports this with reference to the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Arms and Military Equipment.
“The complex has been codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces. Its functionality covers both logistics and combat engineering,” the statement said.
The DODGER ground drone can perform a wide range of tasks, from delivering equipment and evacuating the wounded to mining. Despite its compact size and low silhouette, it can transport up to 250 kg of cargo.
Importantly, the robot’s body is armored against bullets and fragments, making it suitable for use even in active combat zones.
The development is the result of cooperation between Ukrainian defense manufacturers and the military, who provided valuable advice to improve the practical application of the complex in the field.
