The dollar and euro are rising in price again: official exchange rates as of February 4

The exchange rate of major foreign currencies continues to rise gradually in Ukraine. The National Bank of Ukraine has again raised the official exchange rate of the US dollar, while the single European currency has also risen in price. This is evidenced by updated data published on the regulator’s website, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Dollar exchange rate on February 4

On Wednesday, February 4, the National Bank set the official dollar exchange rate at 43.19 hryvnia per US dollar.

For comparison

  • On February 3, the official exchange rate was 42.96 UAH/USD.
  • Thus, the dollar rose in price by 23 kopecks at once

The US currency is also showing growth on the cash market. On average, the dollar has gained about 20 kopecks and is trading at 42.90 hryvnia.

Euro exchange rate: slight but steady growth

The European currency is also growing slowly but surely. The official hryvnia-to-euro exchange rate on February 4 is 50.95 hryvnia.

A day earlier, on February 3, the official exchange rate was 50.90 hryvnia/euro, meaning that the euro rose by another 5 kopecks.
