Donating 10-20 million and giving away monthly income: Ukrainian business massively donates funds for Okhmatdyt

The reverse effect of Russian terror and attempts to intimidate Ukrainians: in three hours, UAH 100 million was raised to rebuild Okhmatdyt in Ukraine.
Another missile attack by Ukraine on 8 July united Ukrainians and businesses in an unprecedented way. From the first hours after a Russian missile hit the Okhmatdyt Children’s Clinical Hospital, Ukrainian businessmen and companies have been donating goods, equipment and money for the rescue and reconstruction operation. Large companies are transferring tens of millions of hryvnias, some donating their monthly income. Even newly established businesses that have not yet found their feet are donating. Those entrepreneurs who have themselves become victims of Russian aggression give the last. Komersant ukrainskyi has compiled the top 100 companies that have contributed to the aid.
The maximum donations are UAH 20 million
- ATB. On the day of the attack on Okhmatdyt, the company’s owners promptly decided to allocate UAH 20 million to the victims of the insidious missile attack. This proved once again that they are a patriotic and socially-oriented business.

More than a dozen companies have donated one million hryvnias each to help the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital. These include Jysk, Oranta, Silpo, Varus, Allo, Fora, Yabko, Glass Alliance, Taryan Group, Kormotech LLC, SMK Group, TAF Drones, Uklon, Skelar tech, MGID, Intellias, MeestPoshta, Openeyes, Nova Poshta, Varus, Kopiyochka, PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine, LetyShops, Vladislava Molchanova’s Foundation, Megogo, and UPG.
Pain and anger are what each of us felt today, probably in three times the amount. We are turning our anger into help. We have already sent UAH 1,000,000 to the National Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt

Banks have also donated one million hryvnias each: A-Bank, Accordbank, and Credit Dnipro Bank. Boxer Oleksandr Usyk also contributed one million hryvnias.
From 100 to 500 thousand hryvnias
- Companies such as Kvartal 95 and Quarks.tech donated half a million each.
- uAH 400 thousand was donated by A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA to support the hospital.
- uAH 300 thousand from Osama Sushi and Aver Lex Law Firm.
- 100 thousand hryvnias from Microkhim, whose production base was also destroyed by Russia in Rubizhne, but they are resuming their activities in Kyiv.
Of course, this is not the entire list of companies that have transferred money. For the second day in a row, large and small businesses continue to send funds to Okhmatdyt. And as proof that there are no small donors:
- 30 thousand hryvnias were donated to the hospital by the educational telegram channel Vozmozhnosti. They note that although they call themselves the “largest channel,” this donation is their monthly income;
- 12,300 h ryvnias are transferred by fastclean.sho, a business that is only 2 months old.
Not just money
“Epicentr K is providing construction equipment and materials to help clear the rubble and will also take part in the restoration of the Okhmatdyt hospital.
Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to provide transport and shelter for the victims.
“Victor and Elena Pinchuk will take over the restoration of the medical equipment of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital,” said the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. Currently, the foundation’s representatives are communicating with the hospital to identify the most important needs, the statement said.
On 9 July,McDonalds will donate all the profits from the sale of its cheeseburgers to the Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Ukraine to support the children’s hospital and its targeted needs. According to the company’s forecast, the amount will be UAH 1 million.
On 8 July, the United24 initiative, together with monobank, launched a fundraiser to restore the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital. Within three hours of the start of the collection, ordinary Ukrainians and business representatives donated more than UAH 100 million. It was decided to continue the collection.

on 8 July, Russia attacked the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital. The enemy’s X-101 missile hit exactly the target it was programmed to hit, law enforcement agencies reported to Ukrainian media. There are dead and more than fifty injured. The Verkhovna Rada calls on the world to recognise Russia’s shelling of Okhmatdyt as a terrorist act, but the US does not allow strikes deep into Russia even after that. 9 July was declared a day of mourning in Ukraine.
