Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has been going on for almost three years now, and during this time, Ukrainian society has united around one common goal: the defense of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence. Ukrainian business is also actively involved in volunteer activities.

For ANC Pharmacy Chain, volunteering is part of its corporate policy. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has been actively involved in the current collection activities, covering the needs of the military and humanitarian areas. Purchasing military equipment, providing medical supplies to units and hospitals, supporting internally displaced persons and the population of the frontline regions, and cooperating with volunteer organizations and charitable foundations are the main areas of support from the company.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, ANC has already donated more than UAH 110 million to charity, almost UAH 3 million in the fall of 2024.

One of the main areas of ANC’s charity, which is directly related to the company’s business, is medical support for the Defense Forces. Taking care of the availability of medicines for Ukrainians, the company tries to fulfill requests for quality medicines and medical equipment for military units as much as possible. For example, ANC provides regular pharmaceutical support to the Azov Brigade. Almost every month, the company transfers about UAH 100 thousand for the medical needs of the formation.

In addition to this request, in November, ANC Pharmacy Chain allocated UAH 200 thousand to purchase medicines for the 27th Border Guard Detachment named after the Heroes of the Carpathian Sich, which is currently serving in the north of the country, and for the 7th Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “Arey”, which is performing combat missions in the Sumy sector and Kursk region.

In the same direction, the ANC Pharmacy will provide assistance in the form of a ground control station for the 119th Brigade’s RUBPAK unit.

Another half a million hryvnias was allocated by the ANC to purchase Mavic quadcopters and batteries for one of the units of the Defense Forces.

Amid the news of possible intensification of fighting in the Zaporizhzhya sector, ANC Pharmacy Chain has stepped up its support for this area. After all, the protection of the city and the region is personally important for the company – it was in Zaporizhzhia that the first pharmacy of the chain was opened, and the history of ANC began and continues from this city, thanks to the Armed Forces.

In September, the ANC Pharmacy Chain, through the Come Back Alive charity foundation, received a request for a DJI Mavic 3 pro from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, which has been holding the line in Zaporizhzhia for almost three years. The quadcopters are needed to perform reconnaissance missions, targeting mortars and fpv drones, and defeat enemy forces. The ANC Pharmacy Network transferred UAH 1 million 200 thousand to cover the need.

Also, at the request of PHARMSIL, a company of striking unmanned aerial systems, which also performs combat missions in the Zaporizhzhya sector, received the necessary kamikaze drones.

For the 15th Operational Brigade, which performs combat missions in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia sectors, the ANC allocated half a million hryvnias to purchase a generator, EcoFlow charging stations and develop drones’ dumps.

And to organize the 55th Brigade’s operational command post, ANC purchased a generator, two TVs and the necessary tools.

Supporting the team members remains an important task for the company. “ANC regularly responds to requests from mobilized colleagues, trying to cover the needs for equipment, medicines and gear.

For example, the company purchased a Starlink terminal and a Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro portable power plant for the 23rd Brigade’s unmanned systems battalion, where one of the company’s employees serves, to perform combat missions.

Also, at the request of two mobilized employees, the company sent medicines and Covid tests to the units where they are serving. ANC helped two more mobilized employees with the purchase of special equipment.

In total, during the year, ANC Pharmacy Chain donated UAH 18.5 million to charity.
